Dashing Through The Snow?

Snow was in short supply on Wednesday December 7 when 30 friends came to Crane’s Mill to participate in our annual Holiday Sleigh Ride. Although the scene wasn’t quite like a snowy Currier and Ives painting, heavy coats and gloves were necessary for the riders as Mother Nature did provide a dip in temperature. After enjoying their ride in a traditional horse drawn carriage, participants toured several Crane’s Mill model apartments and cottages. When Jack Frost starting nipping at noses, they moved inside to Towne Center to enjoy holiday cheer and refreshments. Karla Traficante, Director of Marketing at Crane’s Mill, said of the event, “This was a great way to get in the mood for the holidays. It also reminds us that cold temperatures, snow and ice are right around the corner. And the residents of Crane’s Mill agree that instead of worrying about shoveling the sidewalks in front of a house they much prefer watching our maintenance crew clearing snow—all from the warm surroundings of their Crane’s Mill home.”
